REDRESSAL OF PUBLIC GRIEVANCES

 

For  redressal of public grievances, the District Development  Commissioner,  Kathua alongwith  all  Distict Officers/Sectoral Officers visits all Tehsil Headquarters once in a  month.  The  representatives of the public  and individual  petitioners  are being given patient  hearing and their  demands  are being registered.  The  District Development  Commissioner gives on     spot instructions/directions   to  the    concerned  Dsitrict Officers/Sectoral  Officers for redressal of the  genuine demands of the public.

 

Besides  this, every Wednesday  is fixed for  Public Grievances  meeting at District Headquarters.  The people of various  areas  who come to District Headquarters  are being given patient hearing and their genuine demands are being redressed  immediately  by directing the  concerned District   Officer/Sectoral  Officer  by   the   District  Development  Commissioner,  Kathua.   Till  date many monthly Public Grievances Meetings have been held at all Tehsil Headquarters  and  District Headquarters, in  which most of the  genuine  demands  of the  people  have  been redressed.
